I have a Mercedes GLK and the driver seat was torn due to usage. After searching the Internet for a reasonable and professional upholstery I gave up because of the higher costs. Then I found Bdesign through Thumbtack. Reasons why I love the people from Bdesign. 1. Theresa got back to be on next day and asked me for pictures of the damaged seat. After reviewing the pics she asked me a few questions about the material and gave me a quote adhoc. 2. The price was just perfect. I was quoted double and triple the amount she was asking for. 3. She accomadated my schedule and I was able to go in for the repair on a Sunday afternoon. She told me how long it was gonna take and I was glad to hear that it was a 2 hours job. 4. When i went to her shop she attended me immediately. She didn't have the matching vinyl material but offered me to order the material so I can go back next day to get it done or upgrade for extra dollars to matching leather. 5. The repair took exactly 2 hours. She called me and I went back. 6. Her work is magnificent. I had a full electrical, heated driver seat. After she was done she had me try out the electrical functions and the heat option to make sure that it works. It was just amazing. Bdesign LLC is a blessing for all the upholstery repairs that need magical handwork. I have never experienced better customer service and such a professional work. This shop is an A++.

Our overall experience was great.. items were picked up earlier than we expected and delivered as they promised.. The chairs were professionally done and looks as elegant as when they were first purchased. Price was reasonable too. I would definitely recommend this business for your upholstery needs.

I'm not sure my review came through so I will post again. I was very satisfied with John Mark Power. What he promised came through in time and workmanship. I had a dining room table and chairs refinished and repairs. My furniture looks like brand new. My set was purchased in 1977. I was unsure if to get rid of it or have it refinished and parts fixed that had come loose. I am so glad I decided to have the work done instead. I was very impressed with the time frame I was given and it was met. His workmanship was above all others. I would highly recommend John Mark Power for restoration services. I am one very happy client.

I have an Eames chair which I dearly love. However, one of our (loveable) cats decided to sharpen her claws on it - that was not good for the chair's leather. Tailored To You Designs offered to replace the damaged leather and repair the buttons on the seat, which had come off. They did a great job - chair is as good as new.

Allow me to set the scene. I own a very pretty lilac crocheted dress that I've had for years and I absolutely love it! One day a few months ago, out of sheer laziness, I decided to clean the dress in the washing machine instead of washing it out by hand as the instructions very plainly say. When I opened the door to the washer after the last cycle was complete, I pulled out the horribly mangled lilac mess you see pictured below. Needless to say, I was devastated. How could I have been so careless with my beloved dress?! With very little optimism, I searched the internet for someone who could repair crocheted items. I stumbled across the Thumbtack site and found Scarlett. Scarlett had one glowing review after another. It was apparent that she was a master at her craft. I didn't have a doubt in my mind those reviews were true. But given the condition of my dress, I didn't even think Scarlett had the ability to save it. In my mind, no one could fix that dress. It was impossible. But I still decided to give her a chance. I brought the dress to her, she looked it over. She indicated unhesitatingly that she could fix it. I, of course, was very doubtful but I appreciated her effort to try and fix my dress nonetheless. A couple months later, I hear from Scarlett. "Your dress is ready" she says. She explains that it took a little longer than usual to finish because she had a hard time finding the exact thread to match the rest of my dress. I made arrangements to pick up the dress. En route, I wonder how the dress will look but I have no expectations. Again, I'm just appreciative for her efforts to take on the seemingly (operative word) impossible task of salvaging my dress. As I walk into Scarlett's apartment, she goes to retrieve my dress. When she unfolds it and holds it up before me, I can not believe my eyes. MY DRESS LOOKS JUST AS IT DID THE DAY I BOUGHT IT!!! Scarlett had taken the mangled mess that I was certain could NEVER be repaired and transformed it back into the dress that I'd become so fond of! I know that my review is very long but I deemed it necessary to say all of this in order for people to fully understand just how completely AMAZING Scarlett is. All the reviews that praise her work - they're all true. Scarlett is phenomenal at what she does and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. I will definitely be using her again for my future alteration, sewing needs. In addition to being good at what she does, she is also very pleasant to deal with. By all means - enlist Scarlett for your alteration/sewing needs. I promise that you won't be sorry.

LGK fixed my recliner sofa in my home. I reached out to several vendors and either they wouldn't come to my home, wouldn't commit to estimate or said they could only partially repair. LGK asked questions, asked for pictures and provided estimate based on pictures. Fixed sofa at price estimated at my home. Easy to communicate with, very responsive and very professional! Would highly recommend!

About

Carpet Doctors employs hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning. This method consists of a hot water cleaning solution, under high pressure, being sprayed into your carpet and then quickly extracted back out of the carpet with a high power vacuum system. This breaks up the dirt, bacteria, dust mites feces, pollens and pollutants, allowing them to be extracted from your carpet using high suction. Not only does this method cleans your carpet better, but it also kills most germs and bacteria due to the use of high temp water. As a matter of fact, Shaw Industries, the world’s largest carpet manufacturer, recommends hot water extraction as the primary method of cleaning carpets in order to maintain warranty coverage.
