The area being finished is about 108 sq ft (9x12) and originally had carpet that was loose laid (not glued or permanently fixed in any way). The surface was in good shape. My interactions were all with Grant, who's a co-owner of the company. The entire experience was perfect from start to finish. Grant was immediately responsive to my initial contact, and came out within a couple of weeks to give an estimate. At the time I wasn't sure if I wanted ceramic tile or luxury vinyl tile, so Grant gave me two estimates for each scenario (labor only, no materials). The area is a transition space between kitchen and garage - nothing special - so I was looking for something affordable. When I found that Lowes and Home Depot didn’t have many in-store options I was forced to visit some show rooms. The vinyl quotes I received were higher than I was prepared to pay, so I ended up opting for ceramic. Then when I burned out on all the options and choices, Grant pointed me to a web site to help me narrow things down, and I found a tile I was reasonably happy with that he was able to get for a decent price. He scheduled installation within a week of my decision because he had an opening that also happened to work for me. He and his co-worker showed up on time, and they worked solidly all day. They only had to make one trip to Home Depot to get some 'liquid nails' for the baseboard. When they were finished, they left the place spotless and didn't do any damage whatsoever. The quality of workmanship is top notch – the finished product is flawless. Grant and his co-worker were thoroughly professional and pleasant to deal with from start to finish. This was one of those great experiences I will always remember.

It went very well. I met with Grant, the owner of 858 Flooring, to discuss flooring needs. My wife and I have 2 very large dogs, who occasionally have accidents, and wanted something much more reliable than carpet. He made sure we ended up with the right product. We visited a show room (Pro Source) to select one, and Grant made several recommendations on which products work best. We decided to go with luxury vinyl plank. It's hard to tell it's not hardwood, and makes our upstairs look a lot better. We were pleased with the price. We priced out the same job with Next Day Floors (labor plus materials), and found that 858 flooring offered a much better deal. Grant orders flooring supplies directly from the supplier, and he can often save you money. After putting down a 1/3 deposit to order materials, service was scheduled. Grant and another person worked for 3 days to complete the job. 858 Flooring did a very good job, and have a good eye for detail. Nothing at all looked even remotely shoddy. I'm considered replacing some existing carpet downstairs, and I would definitely use 858 Flooring again.

Grant responded via email to my request for an estimate. He set up an estimate for the following weekend and arrived on time. He listened to our needs regarding the stairs and provided appropriate, common sense solutions. We also liked how the company didn't work with just one distributor or store, but was flexible in regards to where to purchase tile supplies. An estimate was sent quickly via email and a start date three weeks later was scheduled. A week was blocked off to complete the work. Prior to their arrival, Grant kept me in the loop as to the status of the tile, other options,as well as address concerns that I had. Grant and another installer arrived on time to begin the work. They were there for all five days, working steadily the whole time. Both were very mindful of cleaning up. They were also mindful of my cats, who were very interested in what they were doing. Everything went as it should and the result was exactly what I wanted. I could not had asked for better workmanship. Everyone just loves it! 858 Flooring will definitely be working on my other tiling and flooring projects as I get to them!

My compliments to Grant Rowan, the owner of 858 Flooring LLC; he and his associate, George, did a terrific job at installing my luxury vinyl plank flooring. They estimated three days to install the floor and came out on Tuesday to start the job. The did a nice job of preparing the rooms for the floor and anticipated the shipment of the material later that day. Unfortunately, due to some misunderstanding from the manufacturer, the material didn't come in till Thursday. They were very apologetic about the mix-up and assured me they would be able to complete the job in one day by the end of the week. They fully explained the miscommunication and offered a second discount to compensate us for the delay and inconvenience. I requested the material be delivered the day before so I would inspect the material before it was installed. Grant went out of his way after another job to pick up the material and deliver it as requested. Both Grant and George arrived on Friday and were good to their word by completing the installation of the floating LVP floor by the end of the day. They provided answers to all my questions and provided extra service with the installation of floor molding. They did a super job and I will call on them the next time I need flooring.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by 1st making contact & scheduling an appointment for a free in-home estimate. We then go over every aspect of the job, and possible ideas/ suggestions and take measurements in the process. Within a few days, you will receive an incredibly detailed estimate via email for your review & possible acceptance. If the job is accepted, we will look into scheduling the work & material options. Once the job is started, we will show up on time each day, and work diligently & efficiently to complete the job. All while maintaining a safe & clean work area and protecting your home in the process. Upon completion, you will be left with a new sense of value and accomplishment in your home & life!
