- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first year in business, a customer asked me "do you ever get sick of your food" and I paused and dint answer.... That fact was I was sick of my food. then I realized that I don't have to heat it everyday, but when I do If I am sick of then you will be too, so I re did all of my recipes and love it to this day.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been cooking since I was 13, food, cooking, eating unique things is my passion. I love the detail of creating new items, and improving on our current offering. How can I serve it better, hotter tastier. How can I create a unique balance of flavors paring it with our amazing sauces. What is the mouth feel? How do I adjust the flavor profile to get the flavor from the beginning to the end of a bite...... the list goes on!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings, corporate picnics, corporate branding events, birthday parties are most common. I also do various events for Bethesda Cares feeding the homeless, as well as hosting a cooking group for a homeless shelter in Rockville monthly.
