What an amazing company! We needed help repairing our garagedoor opener system and requested quotes from three companies. 24/7 GarageDoor Experts responded almost instantly, and Eli was at our house inside of an hour! He was the consummate professional: courteous, knowledgable, and attuned to our needs. After we reviewed options on how to proceed, we opted for replacing the whole system. It was a Thursday afternoon, and Eli said it would probably be Monday for installation in order to get the parts. Turns out, they were in stock, and the system was installed THE VERY NEXT DAY. Good quality service and quick response. The technicians were professional and the job was done fast, so overall I was satisfied with the service.
However, I do have some questions about the price of the garagedoor springs they offered. I was given three options: $300, $500, or $700 per spring. When I searched online, I found that springs at stores like Home Depot and Amazon for around $70–$120.
When I asked about the price difference, I was told that the store-bought springs are lower quality and that they install higher-quality springs ordered directly from the garagedoor manufacturer. Since I’m not very familiar with this topic, I trusted their recommendation and chose the cheapest option they offered.
Still, it’s hard for me to understand such a large price difference, since I couldn’t find springs online anywhere near that price. I’d appreciate a bit more transparency around the pricing and the exact type of springs being installed. In the invoice they don’t provide the product number of the spring they installed so it’s impossible to go and check out the price of the component.
To sum up, 5 - for the service and quality, 3 - for transparency since invoice is missing product number and manufacturer of the parts they installed.
