We highly recommend Clean and Shine Restoration! We recently experienced major water damage on the first floor of our home. Our carpets were completely saturated with water. Drywall in our bathroom, hallway, office area, bedroom, and washroom got wet too. Mold began to quickly grow on some of the affected drywall. This event was unfortunate, but we were incredibly fortunate that we chose Clean and Shine Restoration to fix all of the damage in our home.
Gary Hess came to our home with his crew to assess the damage and formulate a plan to fix all of the issues. He was organized, knowledgeable, and most importantly just a pleasant person to work with in the midst of a catastrophe given his calm demeanor.
Sia, who works with Gary, quickly cut out the wet carpet and wet drywall. Sia’s crew left in place state of the art dehumidifiers to do the rest of the drying work. We found what lab testing proved to be asbestos tiles underneath the carpet. Gary helped us find a Virginia-licensed asbestos abatement company to safely remove and dispose of those asbestos tiles.
We chose to work with Clean and Shine Restoration for the reconstruction project too. Gary introduced us to Nikos who we also really enjoyed working with. Nikos and his crew installed new dry wall and painted the walls in all impacted areas. They installed beautiful porcelain floors in our laundry room. And they installed hardwood flooring in the office area, hallway, and bedroom. Nikos mounted new cabinetry in our laundry room and our bathroom. Clean and Shine Restoration not only restored but significantly improved the area of our home damaged by water. And they did it all before our parents came from out of town to visit. Our folks also loved the final result. Thanks Clean and Shine Restoration!

Gary and his team are pros; they showed up on time, did the work efficiently and well, and cleaned up afterwards. In addition, Gary followed up frequently with me to check on how things were going. Mold and mildew all gone and the work was done for a reasonable price. 5-Stars for sure.

Gary and his team were amazing!! Gary came over to do an inspection for my estimate and we very friendly and answered all of my questions. He sent me a quote very quickly a few days later and then his team came and did their work. They dropped my mold levels down 99.89%!!! Highly recommended 10/10. Thanks guys!

I called Gary at Clean & Shine when last week's heavy rain storms resulted in water coming in under the back door of the basement of my rental property. Gary was extremely responsive, offered a great price, and was able to tackle the project head on. I was extremely stressed, convinced that the entire floor was going to have to come up to fix the problem - Gary's team came over to assess, calmed my fears, and got to work right away. They were also very accommodating to the fact that I do not live on-site and had to communicate remotely , and they were very professional and friendly to my tenants. I feel very confident with the work done by Clean and Shine and would not hesitate to call them again (though hopefully I won't have to!).
