FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Other than following up on the latest "toys" and trinkets" of fitness, I plan on returning to school for a a nutritionalist certification as well as an Elite certifcation in fitness.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a kid my mother had my play on play areas like an obstacle course and my dad had equipment in his apartment and if i touched it i had to use it. I also have 20+ years of martial arts under my belt. As i got older i started weightlifting and researching more on fitness. In my early 20s, i started training friends in martial arts to help improve their skills by targeting areas of fitness that could help them . I decided to make this a career choice after i quit graphic design and retail because i love helping others improve their health.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I train adaptively, that means i work with a client to see what they have at their disposal and start from there. It maybe nothing at all, so i can start them with training thru bodyweight exercises and cardio training. It all depends on their fitness levels.
