FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Many of my clients like to know right off the top, how much a particular product would be. In most instances, I would give them an estimate. Most of my products are custom, therefore, the materials, labor and overall design varies from one person to the next. This is what makes my business so special. I am going to create a one of a kind product that you simply will not get from another vendor. One of the most important factors that I need to know when I first speak to a new customer, is what your estimated budget would be. This way, I can create around what you expect to spend, as well, the type of product you will be in search of.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I receive a request for a project, it is really important for me to get to know the customer, understand their style, and get to understand what they want to create. This may involve a meeting in which we will sit down in person, or if necessary speak by phone. Once I get a basic understanding of what my client is in search of, I will provide them with a sample(s) and from there, make edits, until if fits their desires.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied graphic design and visual arts, and have received a B.A. degree from Morgan State University. In addition, I have had training at many schools in the local washington DC. area including the Art Institutes, Corcoran Museum and American University to name a few. I have built my business and have been working for more than 16 years.
