FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is very straight-forward. I don't book a low-ball sitting fee then gouge you for reprints that you can only view on my projector. We offer what you want, up-front and honest. No hidden fees, ever!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Although every customers' needs are unique, the process is fairly standard. This is likely the 1st time a customer has hired a photographer, be it for newborn, high school senior, or wedding photographs so it's important to me to walk the client through the entire process. This is my opportunity to show them a complete understanding of the process as well as get to know each other. - An informal but informative first meeting... come with questions, tough questions if possible! - Are we the right fit for one another? If I don't share your vision, I'm not your photographer. It's imperative that we understand each others wants and needs to ensure we can work effortlessly together. Sounds a little daunting but in my 30 years, I have only failed to book prospective clients twice. It happens but it's rare. - We will walk through all options, expectations, and events - If you choose to hire us, further details will follow such as venues, product vision and outcome, and a lot of details to hammer out prior to the event. Preparedness prevents misunderstandings; communication is key.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years in the industry, annual training seminars, and thousands of satisfied customers... that means a lot more than my piece of paper that says I have a liberal arts degree in photography.
