Communications Expertise

Introduction: I am a Public Relations professional with 12 years experience in television and radio news reporting and anchoring as well as 10 years with in public relations (media relations, community involvement, event planning, grant writing, fundraising , internal and external messaging, training others, legislative teaching/testimony etc.) for nonprofit and for profit companies. My expertise has varied from domestic violence and child-related issues, to health care, health coverage, energy and manufacturing topics. I am skilled in all Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc), Indesign, Photoshop, social media. I earned my Bachelors degree in Mass Communications with a focus in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science from Emerson College. I received my Masters in Business Administration and Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University. I am a member of the Maine Public Relations Council as well as the Public Relations Society of America. I am a do-er and a problem-solver.
