Jaylene is the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with. I booked Jaylene as I was referred by another makeup artist, she came to my house for a trial and I gave her double the amount she required for the deposit as I felt that she did a good job and was reliable; however that was far from the experience I had with her. My first mistake was that she said she does not have contracts with her clients. I booked my trial too early to know how I wanted my makeup done, so I requested a second trial. She said that she would do it, but wasn't flexible in the times and unable to travel to me. When I e-mailed her, she often took awhile to respond; however I thought she may have just been busy. It wasn't until my wedding day that I realized what I had got myself into. I received an e-mail the day of my wedding at 8am stating that her boyfriend had taken her car while she was sleeping and that she couldn't make it and couldn't call as her phone was with her boyfriend as well. On top of that, she said she would send me back half of what I gave her. Please save yourself the headache and book with someone else

Jaylene did an amazing job on my make up as well as with my mom, aunt and maid of honor. She made us all look and feel beautiful!! Jaylene is extremely professional, pleasant to work with, and punctual as she arrived early to the house the day of and was all set and ready to go. She also uses very high quality lasting products and airbrushing that worked well for my skin type and therefore I looked flawless the entire day (from 8am to 1am)! She is an expert at her craft, and can create a look that matches your style. I wanted a very natural look but one that would make my blue eyes pop. Jaylene did a great job hitting that objective! A big bonus about her is that she also has a calm way about her that helped to ease my nerves on the big day. I also appreciated how available she was via email, text or phone which made communicating very easy. Brides, I suggest booking a trial and be sure to book it in the morning, that way you are able to see how the make up holds up throughout the day. Trials also ensure that the wedding day goes smoothly. I highly recommend Jaylene to anyone, she was worth every penny! Jaylene, thank you very much for your professionalism and for making me look naturally beautiful!!

Jaylene is simply put...the bomb. She is competent, funny, sweet, and most important, RELIABLE. She adds more to my photoshoots than just a MUA. She's always ready to help out wherever she can. You can't go wrong.

Jaylene did mine, my mom's, and my bridesmaids' makeup for my wedding. She was on time, well-prepared for six different ladies' skin tones, and we all looked amazing. I have hourly rates, half day and full day rates.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 17 years old my skin was chemically burned by a popular acne treatment I used on my face. I was so embarrassed by my skin so I taught myself how to cover it up. I ended up being really good at it and realized I absolutely loved doing it so I went to cosmetology school to get certified and have been doing it ever since!
