Excellent experience! I've worked with a number of carpenters over the years. Not only does Orson have superior workmanship and craft, he has a really great sense of aesthetic, and gets what I want. He really works with his clients. He is also great at breaking down the various options on a project, and how each option affects the amount of work and, eventually, dollars. Super easy to work with. Highly recommend him!

Orson was a lifesaver! I had 3 other reputable contractors agree to do the job which was drywalling two bedrooms and a bathroom and they all were no shows when it came time to start the job. Orson started the day after I hired him. His work and work ethic are unprecedented in this day and age unfortunately! He did have a few issues with a subcontractor that he used for the mudding portion but I don't blame him for that and he did his best to manage the issues that arose. I would highly recommend Blue Jay Carpentry for any work! He's not only a professional and a hard worker but also an amazing artist as well as being helpful with design ideas for unique spaces.

Orson and his crew did some interior and exterior painting for me. He did a great job getting the job done in a timely manner and everything looks great. Orson is a craftsman and has pride in his work and made sure everything was "perfect". He and his crew were very polite and most of the time I forgot they were here. I have already hired him for more painting. I'd given him more stars if I could .

I love working with Orson. He has fantastic ideas and also fantastic taste, and he is able to combine his skill with an excellent esthetic. He's funny and nice and a delight to work with, and Orson's work is top notch. I also want to say that I love how timely and professional he is, how he takes the time to prepare proper quotes and to detail his work, etc. I hired Orson for one relatively small project and this has grown into regular projects. HIGHLY recommended!
