My laptop died, motherboard, hard drive and all. I did a search for computer repair and came up with Joshua at peoples geek, fairly close to my own home. He was fabulous, very accommodating, knowledgeable, and informative. He kept me in the loop constantly until we came to a solution. He found a great new laptop for me and downloaded all my old disks that were from an old back up, plus he got my Microsoft Office on because I have the security key. Since then, Norton 360 has restored all my old files, because I have an online restore service with them, and the files had just been backed up that very morning prior to the computer dying. I now have all of my old Pictures, documents, everything. I cannot be more pleased that I am now. I would recommend Joshua highly.

My computer was repaired in a reasonable amount of time, and it has been working properly since I brought it home. I was initially quoted a repair charge of $75, but when I arrived to pick up my computer I was told the charge would be $125. As it turned out, their cleaning staff threw out the box in which I brought the computer, which contained the wireless keyboard & mouse which came with the computer - so the tech gave me a $50 discount so I could purchase a new wireless keyboard and mouse. The final price did end up being $75 - but only in a roundabout way. Finally, the tech said that he would e-mail a receipt to me - I never received the e-mail receipt. While I'm pleased with the way the computer now works, the overall execution of my experience could have gone smoother.
