What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is customized based on guest count, event length, location, beverage selections, and services requested. Packages can include professional bartending, mobile bar setup, ice, cups, glassware, coolers, and setup/cleanup. Alcohol is typically provided by the host. We offer transparent quotes with no surprise fees, and select wedding packages may include complimentary upgrades or seasonal booking specials.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick conversation about your event, including the date, location, guest count, beverage selections, and vision for your bar experience. From there, we create a customized quote and beverage recommendations. Once you’re ready to move forward, we finalize the details, sign the service agreement, and collect the retainer to secure your date. Before the event, we confirm the final guest count, menu, timeline, and service needs so everything is ready to go.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Velvet & Pour prioritizes professional, responsible, and polished beverage service. Our bartenders are TIPS-certified, with training focused on responsible alcohol service, guest safety, and professional bartending practices. We also bring hands-on experience with weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, cocktail parties, and other special occasions.
