First, I want to say that working with Rob on this project was a pleasure. He was everything you could hope for in an independent contractor - professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and reliable.
Our project was to rebuild two bedrooms that had been combined into one large room in the back of our old farmhouse. The job included :
- plaster removal,
- insulating the space
- framing
- firming up ceiling joists
- rewiring (the old stuff was a mess and a half)
- drywall installation
- installing doors and closets
- installing trim work
It was all done quickly and perfectly!
Another note is that with Rob's keen eye for detail, once he removed the old plaster and lath to prep the space, he found some other issues that needed fixing first. This made the final result far better than I could have done.

We hired Rob to finish our very large basement. When he first came to quote the job, he gave us great advice and several sensible suggestions we ended using and getting a better, less expensive job in the long run. I was so grateful for the direction from a good experienced professional. Rob was always clear what he could do and other things he would have to sub-contact.
Rob framed out our huge basement, had electricals run, then dry-walled, sanded and painted. He then laid engineered hardwood floors throughout. We were very pleased with the results. He was always here when he said he would be, which I thought was a miracle considering he had 5 month old twins at home when he started!
