FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are no such things as discounts. If someone is giving you a discount, it's because they've marked up their services. I'm straight forward with my pricing and will itemize as much as is reasonable so there's full transparency between the client and I. I almost always quote by job, not by hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There will be a walkthrough/consultation about the scope of the project, location, materials, etc. After this, a quote will be given within 24hrs which will include the following: - Price - Timeline - Additional Requirements - Terms of Agreement. Based on the project size, you may need to put a deposit to secure our services, along with milestone payment requirements for larger projects (i.e. New Construction: 50% prior project start, 80% after rough-in inspection, 100% after final inspection) Anything under $1000, no deposit needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 4000hrs in Washington state and close to 2000hrs here in Michigan. Also hold a bachelor's of science in electrical engineering from University of Washington.
