Introduction: Hi! We are Lily & Abben and we are Lux Photography! Together, we are committed to modern photography that tells a story. After staffing together through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, we soon found that our personalities and photographic styles complemented each other's. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, our focus is on wedding photography and portraiture. We believe that everyone has a story that is worth telling; with every snapshot, photographs have power in the way that they save our moments and memories. Our hope is that when you see your photos, they bring you back to the moments in time and you are able to relive them. Lux simply means "light" in Latin. While the use of light in photography often alludes to how photos literally capture light rays, the reason we chose to use lux is because of light's ability to shine through darkness and illuminate the unknown. We truly love everything about this job. From the people to the craft, every aspect is so fun for us.

Lilly was readily available and open to doing our engagement photos with haste and excitement! We met at a forest preserve park / butterfly garden that she picked out and absolutely loved the scene. She pulled off the lighting well, helped us feel more than comfortable posing, and looking at the final shots, we were in awe of how dashing they came out!
