- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing this type of work for as long as I can remember. I helped build my mother's house when I was about 16 years old and I was hooked. I also love to do woodworking in my spare time building custom furniture. It is so fun to start from scratch and build something awesome.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My in-laws recently purchased their "dream home" which had all of the elements they had always wanted, but needed a complete remodel. I was able to sit down with them, come up with a plan, and transformed the house into a home.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a builder or contractor who is licensed and insured and who will take the time to really listen to your ideas. A great contractor will respond to phone calls and emails in a timely manner and provide a quote fairly quickly.
