Chris was able to find some serious things that were wrong with the property we were about to purchase by going into the crawl space and having vast knowledge of roofing, he saved us from buying a house that we would have had to put over $25k into to fix.

I'm a first-time home buyer, and knew little about the process. I needed a home inspection, and didn't know where to turn. Searching around the area, I stumbled on Thumbtack and put in a request. I was answered less than five minutes later by CCNCO. Soon, I was on a conference call with Cindy and Chris Archambeau. They were friendly and patient and answered all of my questions. As the day of the inspection neared, I was nervous and had many more questions and called and texted them a lot. Chris and Cindy answered them all and put me at ease. They never made me feel like I was bugging them (even though I know I was!) The day of the inspection came. Chris showed up on time and cheerful, despite the fairly long drive to get to my new house. And what a house! 2600 square feet, built in the 1880s! The romance of the old house was in full bloom. I wanted to get a good deal on the house, and was hoping Chris could find some things I could bargain with. He was thorough, careful, and very exacting in his inspection. He found hundreds of flaws, many of them major and expensive. He went up on the roof, down in the crawlspace, up in the attic. He found infestations of mice and bats. He explained why the foundation of the house was rotten. He poked and prodded and nitpicked. He wrung every bit of information, every secret out of that old place for two solid hours. All the while, he put up with me nervously hovering around, asking a million questions. I soon calmed, though, thanks to Chris's calming and cheerful demeanor. I couldn't help but feel like it was him buying the house for himself and his family, so carefully and thoroughly did he inspect it. And... Chris might have literally saved my life and the life of my wife. He uncovered a very unsafe condition with the water heater and the construction of the house that could have led to a fire at any time. In the end, we learned that our "dream house" would require about $30K - $50K of repairs to make it safe and liveable. Chris saved us from a very expensive mistake. I cannot recommend CCNCO highly enough. They proudly say they're not affiliated with any of the real estate companies- and no wonder! If I was a realtor, I'd tremble to see Chris appear at the doorstep. If you want the toughest, most thorough home inspection money can buy (oh... and guess what? Their rates are very, VERY reasonable!) then contact CCNCO!

I started out as a youngster in the building industry...attending Bay Arenac Skill Center for 2 years in building maintance/physical plant technology class taking awards in Vocational Clubs of America at the state level and student of the year.... member of NACHI (National Association certified home inspectors)...
