Introduction: My philosophy is simple. I want to get every BODY moving toward the health. I chose moving because movement is an essential part of our human nature; therefore, it is essential for all bodies to use movement as much as possible within their day. Movement can range from strenuous to relaxing, but our bodies were meant to move. That said, each client is a unique individual and I tailor each fitness or wellness programming decision to the client. I make sure that your program is sustainable for your lifestyle, enjoyable enough to motivate you to do it, and challenging enough to produce the results you want. I love working with clients on making changes to their health and fitness. I support you in being the driver to the destination of your choice. I know WHAT we need to get there, but you tell me HOW you want to implement that. My favorite part of working with clients is when they have an expected AWESOME outcome from traveling on their health and fitness journey.

I began working with Susan after several years of trying, on my own, to battle the slowing metabolism and gradual weight gain associated with moving into my middle/late 40’s. Almost immediately, I began seeing results. Susan not only incorporated strength training into my weekly workouts but also educated me on the importance of my nutritional choices, sleeping habits, and overall physical and mental health. In order for me to accomplish my goal of being a fit, healthy, athletic woman, I needed to make lifestyle changes rather than just going on a crash diet or insane exercise regimen. After 6 months, I have accomplished my goals and am now working with Susan on training for my first Sprint Triathlon!

Susan was both very knowledgeable and helpful particularly on working around limitations from an injury. She created exercise routines that were well tailored to my situation and implemented in a manner that encouraged me to stick to my exercise plan. She has recently relocated and I will miss her effective and friendly, yet disciplined approach to coaching.
