Thank you Chris, We greatly Appreciate your business.
Be cautious of the honesty of Clarence and Pray you have nothing damaged during your moving. On Sep17, 2016 we hired Clarence’s Top Notch Moving to help us move from Saline to Troy in Michigan. They did a fine job mostly, but when we arrived at our new house and unloaded everything, one of our TVs (50 inch Samsung) was found broken, about 3 big cracks appeared on the screen. Clarence was not on the scene. Patrick Nelson, who is the operation manager, admitted it’s their’s fault. He asked us the value of our TV, and we told it was bought about 3 years ago at the cost of 8-900 dollars. Because on our contract, by default, the value of our belongings is considered as 60 cents per pound per article. Patrick wrote down the broken TV as a specifically excepted article (meaning the value of this article is specifically declared below), and it was written down as “TV screen crack, 50/55 inch Samsung, less than $1000”. He promised us his boss Clarence will call us the 2nd day and measure the broken TV and buy us a new one. We fully trusted Top Notch Moving, so we still paid our due moving cost to Patrick at end of the moving without any hesitation, and it turned out to be a mistake… On Day 2 (Sep18), no phone call from Clarence. No one showed up to measure the TV either. On Day 3 (Sep19), still no phone call and nobody showed up. We called Clarence later that day and was told he will only pay us 60 cents per pound. Guess how much you will get paid in this way? Clarence told us it was unfair for him to buy us a new TV since “ours is 3 years old”... (And how do you think about that!!!). We told Clarence we didn’t expect to take advantage of him and would even accept a used Samsung TV with the same size. In the end of the conversation, Clarence told us he has a same sized 50 inch Samsung TV bought about 8-9 months ago in his office, he will bring us either the used one in his office or a new TV a few days later. On Day 7 (Sep24), Clarence finally showed up in our house, instead of bringing the used TV in his office or a new one as he promised, he told us he needed to take away our broken TV and bring it to a repair shop and then try to fix it by replacing the display screen. He mentioned he checked and found the TV in his office is a Samsung LED and ours is a Samsung Plasma, so it’s not fair to just give us that one even as used TV. (How do you think about that !!!). Before Clarence left, he agreed to let us know the updates next Monday. On Day 9(Sep26, next Monday) No phone call for the repair updates from Clarence as promised. My wife called him twice, no answers, no call back. On Day 10(Sep27), My wife called Clarence again and was told the TV was being fixed and there was no guaranteed day to return it. My wife was also blamed for being not patient and pushing him too hard… Clarence threatened us just wait for the news Or he will bring back the broken TV and just give us $150 and that is it. On Day 11(Sep28), Our broken TV turned out to be not fixable. Clarence sent us two pictures of a 5-6 years old LG Plasma TV (labelled as 2010 model year) saying this is the used TV in his office. He will bring us this used TV as we agreed earlier if we accept that. For some reason, the used TV he mentioned in his office just magically turned from a 1 years old Samsung to a 5-6 years old LG…!!! We were threatened either accepted this 5-6 years old LG or nothing! We said NO. On Day 12(Sep29), Clarence asked Patrick to drop off our broken TV to our house since it cannot be fixed. Nothing more came with that. We tried very hard to communicate with Clarence, but he intentionally ignored our phone calls. On Day 13(Sep30), We finally decided to file this complaint against Clarence and his moving company Top Notch Moving. Just to make thing RIGHT.Sep 30, 2016VerifiedTop Notch Moving Solutions Inc.'s reply
No I wasn't at this Move. I told this Shipper I was attending a Funeral. I was in Bereavement. On the Day of the move and everyday after as my Friends and people I have moved In people that think about using Top Notch Moving Solutions can see I have got calls, E-mails and threats on me and my Company for know reason at all. I asked Mr. and Mrs. Miao do they want Insurance, which they replied NO. being I take every Job personally, if I didn't I wouldn't be a TOP PRO on Thumbtack. I told Mr.Miao and his Wife on the 3rd Day let me investigate in get to the bottom of the Problem, whatever it is we can fix it. If you look at the reply up top. They won't let my office staff, or myself sleep. Constantly emailing me with threats. My Operations Manager went over to there house to try in stage a sit down to tell him personally were working on fixing the problem. Mr. Miao parents who don't talk English attacked my Ops. Manager. so I asked Mr. Miao what do you want? to which he replied a $1000 dollars. I told him your TV is a 50 Plasma 3 years old. I told him I have a 55 Inch Plasma in my Office 2years old with a 3 year warranty left on it to which he replied yes. Bring It over. Mrs. Miao said know she wants $. So theirs nothing I can do, I even told them their brand new LED TV's for $500. Nope they want $1000 for a TV that has Chinese writing on the back so I truly cannot tell the year, plus Mr. Miao constantly harasses me and my Staff via Emails and calling all our Phones making threats. its like theirs no middle ground. Notice how they put Day 1. Top Notch Moving Solutions Inc. Loves our Customers we've never had anything like this ever happen to us since we've been in Business. We are now looking to go the legal route and contact the Authorities to stop the threats. Notice in Bereavement they don't pause or slow down. The Husband sent a List of things he's going to do to Top Notch Moving Solutions Inc. if we don't meet his demands. Am not exaggerating. Just Know that Top Notch has never in will never take advantage of our Customers Trust. Our Slogan says it all. Relax...Watch us Work(For You)

They did a great job. We had to move quickly and were a little disorganized but the movers took that in stride. We appreciated that.Apr 9, 2018Verified
