Great work by Mike! He did a number of projects around the house, installing blinds, putting up clothes hooks, a wine rack, changing out a chandelier. His work was very professional, secure and reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend him.

Lisa brought us hope that property management companies can communicate with us and follow up with what is happening to our properties. We live in another state and it is difficult to feel confident that our properties are being maintained as they need to be. It is early in the business relationship, but Lisa is giving us more information in the last month than our prior company gave us this past year.

Rondo Investment is the best property management company I have run across in the Detroit area. They are extremely responsive to all of my inquiries and thorough when answering my questions or explaining the local market to me. After working with them I decided to purchase a few more investment properties and they were able to assist me with that as well. Rondo Investment is quite simply the only company I trust my property management to.

I do not usually write reviews much. However, I feel compelled to write one this time because of the excellent service that this company provides. I have dealt with a property management companies and this one stands out on top of all others. The owner Tony Dragich., is really helpful, prompt, and polite. I know that he has a lot of clients but he makes me feel like I am the only client. He shows that he cares and tries his best to cater to my concerns!!!! Thank you.

I am an investor residing in Australia. Dependency on a very reliable and competent property management is necessary. I had twice been disappointed by other providers of that service that abused the relationship and caused a loss in monthly returns. GHM has been excellent in providing timely communications, interactions with maintenance contractors, and money management so that my confidence in professional management has been completely restored. I can sincerely give a high recommendation for engaging GHM to provide the full range of services for property management. Charles Rudder Chamich Properties, LLC

Great and reliable property management company!. I was an out of State property owner looking for a change from my prior disastrous management company relationship. After a careful search, I went with Al Phillip at BRS Property Management. They have performed really well. I am getting my monthly statements and rent checks. they have earned my trust. Believe me, there are some dependable property management companies out there and BRS is definitely one of them.

I mean just everything about these folks are dandy! The best thing was I called them after they finished the work they did for me and they offered me a customer card gift card of $50 just for me getting them to do the over seeing of my apartment buildings sign on and lawn things over here. Seniors need help, people with patience and they helped.

I needed help with managing a property in Detroit since I live out of state. I spoke with several people I found on line, but immediately identified Doug as the best. He is personable, honest, delivers on every promise, knowledgeable, and a delight to interact with. He has really set my mind at ease knowing that my long distance real estate is being well managed!

This was a great team of landscapers to work with. Job was completed as expected and even worked with me on a couple of unexpected snags due to neighbor problems. They were on time as scheduled, finished when promised and were communicative throughout the process.

About

• Farmington, MI (PRWEB) February 9, 2010 Michigan property management company, Mutual Property Management, has recently launched a new website. Their new site has been upgraded in effort to allow for easy updates of new rental homes on the market as well as more informative articles. Mutual's new site offers a regularly updated blog and social media options so customers can stay informed of changes in the real estate sales and rentals market. Founder, president, and nationally ranked mortgage originator, Mark Heppard, established Mutual Property Management in 2008 in order to resist the effects of a chillier mortgage climate. Mark Heppard has been ranked among the top 200 mortgage originators in the country for number of loans closed for 12 consecutive years run. He decided to fill the need for a reputable property management service for his clients due to market conditions. Hundreds of mortgage companies have scaled back their operations or disappeared completely while trouble in the mortgage industry continues to grow. In response to his loyal clients who can’t sell their homes due to a dire Michigan real estate market, Heppard established a full-service property management company. Mutual Property Management helps clients rent homes they can’t sell and offers tenant management services. They also help clients take advantage of discounted real estate inventory by assisting them in the purchase of distressed properties for investment ownership. “We really were forced to reinvent ourselves and expand our menu of services beyond just mortgage consulting. We're pleased with the considerable growth we've been fortunate to have over the past two years.” says Heppard who is also a licensed real estate broker. In an effort to reach clients outside of Michigan and accommodate clients with out-of-state properties, Heppard has also expanded his Internet marketing presence beyond their new website. This will allow them to offer mortgage services in more than 20 states, which is expected to steadily increase. “Many of our clients have second homes, investment properties and referrals outside of Michigan. We now can expand our client base and offer our services to out-of-state clients.” says Heppard. For additional information, contact J. Mark Heppard of Mutual Property Management, located in 33004 Grand River, Farmington, Michigan 48322. • Company History Started in 1988, Mutual Mortgage Corporation was founded in downtown Farmington. J. Mark Heppard has been the only nationally ranked loan officer in Michigan for 12 years running before launching Mutual Property Management.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What does a property management company do?

Property management companies manage the rental of residential homes, apartments, condos, commercial spaces and retail spaces. Property managers can oversee just a single unit or many properties, whether those sites are inhabited full-time or are vacation rentals. A property management company helps a property owner or landlord find tenants; collects rent; takes care of accounting, property maintenance and repairs; handles on-site management; and manages vacation rental check-in and checkout tasks. Although many property owners or landlords successfully manage their own rental real estate, a property management company can help you handle tenant issues and maintenance problems, especially if you are not located in the same city or state. Most property management companies deal with tenants directly, and their tasks include:

  • Marketing the rental property
  • Collecting rent
  • Handling repair problems
  • Responding to tenant complaints
  • Evicting tenants

A property management company may be a good choice for property owners who have several investment properties, live far away from the rental property, or don’t have time for hands-on management.

Why is property management important?

A property management company can be a landlord’s greatest asset. As a neutral third party, the property manager handles the day-to-day operations of a real estate investment, from a single vacation home to a large apartment building or several rental properties. A property management company can be especially helpful to landlords who own several units and can’t manage each of them individually, or those who live too far from their investment properties to meet with renters and oversee maintenance. Property management is particularly important if your rentals are part of an affordable housing program. To receive financial assistance from the government, the landlord must comply with a complicated set of rules; property management companies should have both experience and expertise in complying with the rules specific to each housing program.

Do property managers need to be licensed?

The licensing requirements for property managers vary from state to state, but many states require property managers to have a real estate broker’s license and in some cases be a legal resident of a state. Property management may not be specified in a state real estate statute, but according to the Institute of Real Estate Management their activities may include advertising the availability of a rental property, discussing a property management agreement with an owner, negotiating leases, showing a rental property and collecting rents.
