I laughed so hard from Matt Friend, my cheeks hurt! I will see him anytime he returns to Detroit and possibly cross a state line for such a gifted comedian.It was a fantastic first experience both seeing him and attending The Comedy Bar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would recommend showing up at least a half hour before show time to ensure your seating preference.

I had a great first experience at The Comedy Bar - Detroit. The comedian Anna Pryz was amazing. Her humor about her midwestern views and positive mental health were fantastic, along with a full house laughing and cheering her on in such a great venue made the evening so enjoyable.

Fun night! Great show, nice seating. My drinks were awesome and staff were super nice. Parking directly behind Comedy bar is very convenient! One suggestion ....make it more obvious that the main entrance is at back of building, not on Woodward.

Great atmosphere and the show was entertaining. Absolutely a speak easy vibe but located in a place where you need at least a sign that indicates the entrance! Basement was cool, and the bar service was on point. Didn't appreciate the automatic gratuity. We'll be back

LOVE!!! We laughed so much! Amazing service! Loved the location. Super clean and cutely renovated, but they still kept that rich history of the building.
