They did such a sloppy job painting my rooms, they showed up pretty late every day, although they said they would come at 8 or 9am but it never happened. They came late like 1pm then they complained that they had to stay late till 6pm-8pm to finish the job! The paint stains are all over the place, sink, stairs, bathtub, floors, etc… (even though they didn’t even paint my bathroom, I don’t understand how they get paint everywhere in my bathroom). The original color of the wall was barely covered up! They took 3 days to paint the three rooms and they did such a terrible job! The quote originally was for the entire 2nd floor (3 bedrooms, hallway, attic door, bathroom), however, they said it was miscommunication, they said the quote was only for painting 3 bedrooms. I said, “ok, fine, paint 3 bedrooms only”. Then I found out they didn’t even paint the door frames at all, they were trying to argue that it was late and the door frames were not included in painting three rooms!!! What kind of logic is that! They tried to argue that I got a good deal and they didn’t even make much money by doing this job! But hey dude, that’s not my problem! You are doing business! You agreed a price beforehand you should stick to it and bring good quality work to your customer! Although I did pay fair amount of money for “just the three room painting” job! It’s not worth it at all! I’m really upset that I had to deal with such unethical painters. Before they left, they promised they would come back and fix the bad job they did, but they never showed up as promised!!! I’ve treated them well by giving them food and water constantly, and providing everything they needed. however, they are just so ungrateful. I’ve wasted my money, now I have to do the job myself. Really disappointed… Be aware of with this kind of contractors, looks like Thumbtack never checks the competency and qualifications or background of a contractor when they sign up on this platform which is unfortunate. Anyone can start a business on thumbtack looks like. Be careful when you hire contractors here, check the reviews. Don’t waste your hard earned money like I did.
