FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you need to cancel a lesson or reschedule, please do so at least an hour before the lesson time so that I can make adjustments in my schedule. I charge a $30 No-Show Fee for students who miss a lesson without cancellation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a get-to-know-you lesson where we spend the first few minutes discussing your musical background, what kind of music you most enjoy, and what you want to get out of lessons. Once that’s established, I like to dive right into what the student is most excited about and go from there!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a classically trained cellist of 15 years with 7 years of teaching experience under my belt. I received my Bachelor’s in Music Performance from University of Miami - Frost School of Music and spent many years studying music history, theory, analysis, and pedagogy. I am well-versed in classical theory (Common Practice Era) as well as jazz theory and have studied and performed all kinds of different genres, including classical, jazz, funk, bluegrass, r&b, neo-soul, pop, and more!
