Certified garden consultant and designer, I also hold degrees in both environmental science and biology.
Offerings:
✨ The Confident Kitchen Gardener Consultation - Our signature 3-phase consultation to take you from overwhelmed to knowing exactly how to start your dream backyard vegetable garden including a virtual design
✨Vegetable Garden Coaching - Perfect for those that have a vegetable garden but its not really doing much. I will walk through your garden with you and we address tending, watering, natural fertilization, planting, etc. Let me help you make your garden great!
✨Other offerings - vegetable garden maintenance visits and seasonal planting for those who would prefer to just sit back and enjoy the produce without digging in. Indoor greenhouse setup, fruit pruning, school gardens, and gardening classes.
❌Services not done: flower beds, lawns, and weeding. We specialize in edible vegetable gardening only. Thanks!

When I first spoke to Rachael about my garden I had a lot of concerns and felt very overwhelmed by what and where and how to plant - she talked to me about what I wanted to plant and the space I had available and tailored a plan to fit me as a new gardener with great resources for how to carry my garden forward as it develops!
From spacing & options about depth, to how to make sure my plants are staying up on important nutrients, and even helping me identify blight in a jalapeno plant so I could remove it and not contaminate my other peppers - my experience working with Floraculture has been easy to understand while also elevating what I thought I was capable of in my garden.
I tried to educate myself with tools available online but I found a lot of contradicting advice - Rachael’s background in Biology and Environmental Science gave me confidence that she was pulling from her knowledge base as well as her experience to offer accessible, well reasoned solutions that took into account both my garden dreams and my environmental reality.
I will absolutely continue to work with Floraculture as I gain experience and try new things with my garden. There is no substitute for having an expert to consult who understands not only how to build a beautiful garden but why it’s so valuable to grow fresh edibles and flowers in your home space.

Rachael was awesome to work with. I showed her my disaster of a flower bed and she created a beautiful plan for me. Miles and Brad executed her vision perfectly. She was even patient with me through dealing with HOA approvals and rules. Thank you all so much!
