I have a deep and abiding compassion for each student as a unique individual. I help your practice be about you-- not me! I will help you to achieve a deep state of clarity and focus over time, and teach to what you wish to accomplish in your practice.
I love the opportunity to teach a very old, sacred practice that can bring immense peace to a student's life over time. It is a gift to have this practice to share with others so that the entire community may be lifted up with compassion and peace.

I worked with Emily for several private and semi-private lessons. She was supportive and created a very relaxed environment. She tailored the class to my specific needs and what I was looking for on any given day. At the time I was pregnant and she was able to show me many
useful modifications and provide more detailed safety information than I was able to receive in other group classes. Using her services both helped me grow in my practice, and allowed me to get more out of other classes I had previously been attending. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

I had Emily as a teacher for a private, one hour long yoga class with me and a friend. She was a calm, informative, and understanding and welcoming teacher. She gave us both individual attention and tips for our specific needs and bodies. Emily also helped teach me more about alignment, which was super helpful since I am still new-ish to yoga.
