Tony come to the house and spent time with our dog and did a thorough assessment and came up with a plan to address my major concerns with our dog. After just one training session, our dog is no longer pulling on her leash!!!

Erica was outstanding helping us to integrate an adult dog, with lots of energy and enthusiasm, into our house that already had two cats who do not like change! She created a thorough plan and helped us to implement this plan at each step. As new challenges or situations arise she is always willing to offer helpful advice and tips. I would highly recommend her!

I will help you train you dog to be a good companion for you and your family. I can help you get your retriever started. Remember: they are dogs, not people. You can't reason with them. You have to show them what you want and keep showing them till they get it.

About

My name is Courtney, and I live in Douglas! I am a huge animal lover and own a dog myself. I love to take my dog and my sister's dog for walks in the state park! I am currently in my last year at WMU and will be unavailable Mondays and Wednesdays due to classes. I am willing to pet sit or simply just walk or play with pets that are needing the attention. My price is negotiable, and I am willing to work with you to get the best experience for your fur kids!

About

KK provides in-home training, consulting, and the much needed advice for many owners who need help in understanding their canine partners. We also provide dog sitting in our home. We offer consultations on behavior, nutrition, health and understanding. She has been to numerous clinics on dog behavior. Her most beneficial being the clinics held by a Canadian trainer. In order for you and your dog(s) to have a successful relationship, you need to understand how a dog thinks and what he/she needs. This is something we would love to help with. There's nothing better than a "talking dog."

I work with individuals and there lovely pets to ensure forever homes. I can go to them or we can find a spot training area that will help resolve other issues elsewhere. Obedience and manors are easier to teach if someone can show you how by demoing with other dog and walking you through the steps. A person does not train a dog in a hour. It is a gradual and consistent project over time.

About

Honestly I don't think there are alot of people in the Kalamazoo area supplying this service. I love dogs, horses, kids (the order - depends on the day I guess)! Dogs are consistent as long as people provide the same.

About

I love dogs, and I love to watch them. Dogs love me, and I will be happy to watch your dog and to see them.

About

How long does it take to train a dog. That depends on the age and breed of the dog, some breeds learn faster then others. Can any dog be trained. Absolutely it just may take longer for some dogs.

About

The Well Mannered Dog Center’s fantastic facility in Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan, offers outstanding dog daycare, boarding, dog classes and events. We offer dog daycare, boarding and classes in Grand Rapids. Dog lovers have a deep desire to talk dog and spend time with others who feel the same way. That is just what The Well-Mannered Dog Center was created to provide. The facility is designed to be used as a base for the many area dog training clubs, breed clubs, 4-H clubs and all citizens who enjoy the company of their canine companions. It’s a place to play, learn, compete, and network with dog-loving kindred spirits. During our daytime hours, we focus on canine daycare and exercising our boarding dogs. Our nights are filled with competitive action. Our indoor areas are large enough to simultaneously handle three separate training classes and a regulation-sized agility course. This translates into plenty of indoor space, so people can ‘drop in’ for a few hours in the evening for play, to practice, attend classes or even join a flyball league. Flyball is a furious relay sport for teams of four and their dogs. The competition is ‘ruff’ and is a great spectator sport as well. Dog Daycare When you are away from home, do you often worry about your canine companion alone waiting for you, and wish there was a dog daycare facility where they could receive some attention and healthy activity? At The Well-Mannered Dog Center of Grand Rapids, our dog daycare staff members are ready to tire out your pet, so you don’t have to. Our staff of canine professionals knows that dogs are social critters who crave interaction with people and other pets. At our dog daycare, canine play groups are matched to size and personality. Seventy-five clean and safe kennels provide feeding space and quiet rest time in between rollicking play periods in our large indoor and outdoor areas under the watchful eyes of our staff. We screen all prospective four-legged clients to ensure that they can get along with other dogs. We insist that dogs be spayed or neutered, current on their vaccinations, and on regular flea and tick maintenance programs. Pets found to be ill or with fleas will be quarantined and held for the day at an additional charge. Classes Beginning obedience dog classes are geared to our clients who want more control and a stronger team work bond with their companion canines. Our goal is to enable our clients to handle their dogs in all situations, indoor and outdoor, with confidence. Obedience dog classes are an excellent beginning step for having a well-mannered dog, and can serve as ground work towards advanced performance AKC and UKC competition dog classes. At The Well Mannered Dog of Grand Rapids, our obedience dog classes refine the control behaviors to a faithful level of execution. Beginning obedience dog classes are offered only in a group setting because we know that a group class will yield the best results, as it provides the distractions of the other clients and their companions. Agility dog class provides a positive approach to agility training. Control and accuracy will be emphasized while introducing you and your dog to AKC and international style obstacles. The well-mannered dog freestyle dog classes combine tricks and basic dog obedience to form a musical routine you and your dog perform together. Big or small, formal obedience skills or not, all dogs can do this! Freestyle is a great exercise and fun for both you and your canine partner. Whether you just want to have fun in your own living room, entertain at a local nursing home or get out and compete, freestyle dog classes are a great way to build a wonderful relationship with your dog with a focus on fun, fun, fun!
