John cleaned our family home years ago, and it was a great experience. First of all, we have tried many other cleaning services before and after, and we were extremely disappointed. We usually were not home, but when we were? My wife and kids all loved John, and we have actually always kept in touch since. He is a genuine person. I understand that after years of teaching ekementary school, Blue Sky Cleaning is alive again! We are so happy to have him back! Yes, he asked us to write this review, but I couldn't be happier to do so.

I've been using Blue Sky Cleaning for weekly house cleaning for 3 months. I highly recommend them. I tried a handful of other providers in the East Grand Rapids area and found that Blue Sky is the best fit. John and his team are flexible both with their scheduling and tasks. If I need to add or remove a room or service, he is accommodating. Many services have a strict rotating checklist and will not do anything not on that list--such as cleaning windows. John does what needs to be done. He uses low odor products so you walk in to a clean home without any overwhelming scents. If there is a product you wish to provide for a specific purpose, he will use it. He is very good with our (large) dog and after our initial introduction, does not have the typical requirement that the dog be crated. (this was a big problem for me with other services--team members were afraid of or allergic to dogs) Our teenaged kids like John a lot and felt comfortable being home "alone" with him over the summer. In summary, Blue Sky Cleaning does a fantastic job, rates are reasonable, staff are great, and I highly recommend them for your home cleaning needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We like to, if possible, do a walkthrough of a home or business before we agree on a fair price. We will agree on a "per cleaning" charge, and this will typically run around 25 dollars per hour of service.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We have received amazing feedback and gratitude from our customers, and many times our customers have had poor experiences with previous cleaning services. Our customers advice can be summarized by saying: Stay away from the larger cleaning companies. Due to high employee turn-over rates, little pay, and a lack of the employees taking ownership and pride in their work, larger companies can't offer you service you deserve.
