I cannot begin to say how helpful Katie was. I reached out to her for some last minute help. She was not available the day I needed, but offered to help the next day, which thankfully worked out. My brother is moving from Grand Rapids to Arizona and needed some help packing up his home. I arranged this for my brother and Katie was quick to respond. Two words: hire her! I am objective and critical (retired cardiac nurse). Katie’s work ethic is stellar. We went to three hour time slots, since I could not keep up with her. She is patient, intuitive and does not push. It is such a relief to have a beautifully organizedhome. Katie was so enjoyable to work with that I will look forward to doing any needed follow ups. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start with a phone or email exchange to get to know the client. Then, we'll set up a complimentary 30 minute consultation to get a good sense of the space and what the client's goals are. Then, we'll typically work side by side to declutter, and get to work with the organizing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have gone through a training program with the Organizing Specialists and am now a part of their network of organizers.
Additionally, I hold a PMP certification (Certified Project Management Professional). I have 20 years managing projects and developing and adhering to timing and budget parameters, including multi million dollar product development and event projects.
I have been organizing for many years prior to officially launching my company, and love the combination of client interaction and transformation of physical space.
