FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It kind of chose me. When I was young I would line-up my teddy bears and shoot them at different angles. I have always had a talent for capturing emotion through media. Now I get to use my skills in my professional life as a Creative Director and freelance artist.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I do are for non-profits. I usually take photos and produce videos for these non-profits but over the past year I have received more business from graphic design. I am open to producing media for other types of clients and have had success in both sectors. But my passion and expertise caters more towards the non-profit sector.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Before you make a down payment make sure you have a contract. A contract is so important because it protects you from infringement and insures that you will legally receive work for compensation. Also, check out different styles. Sometimes a photographer specializes in one style but is open to shooting in another. Don't be afraid of diversity in your shoot.
