We have been with TPC for nearly three years now and we love it! Our teacher, Mr. Zimmerman, has been instrumental in developing our kids' talent and passion for playing piano. He is a kind, patient and adaptive teacher, catering to both of our kids' own unique learning styles, which has been critical to their continued success and growth. TPC has remained a constant throughout the pandemic through their flexibility and success implementing virtual lessons, though we do look forward to returning to the studio this summer. There, I witnessed the interactions between many other teachers with their students and parents and my impression is that TPC is a caring and kind community and we are happy to be a part of it. Highly recommend!

We have been taking lessons with Josh Z for almost 3 years. The in-person studio and virtual lessons have been top notch. Josh has a great rapport with my daughter, he is kind, knowledgeable and gives great feedback. It has been a joy to hear her make progress over the years. We love Piano Cottage!

We have2 students and have been with TPC for almost 8 years. We love our experience with them. The staff is friendly, extremely talented, patient, and full of passion. We cannot emphasize patience enough. Having a child with a sensory processing disorder means it’s often difficult to find the right methods to keep them engaged and learning. We have found TPC to be more than compassionate and skilled at working through these challenges. The other families and students we have met are equally engaged and have become family. The students are extremely supportive of one another and enjoy collaborative learning. It’s always a joy to watch students uplift each other.

Our daughters (ages 11 & 9) have been taking piano lessons at The Piano Cottage for the past few years. We are very pleased with the quality of instruction they have received in person, and virtually. In addition to the weekly lessons, the girls love performing in the recitals! We highly recommend you check out TPC!

Our most common model for lessons is 30 minutes weekly lessons. Tuition for 30-minute weekly lessons is $115.50 per month per student. This averages out to about $30.00 per lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We will set up a call to get a better idea of your experience and goals to best pair you with one of our instructors. 2. The instructor will contact you to set up your free lesson. 3. If everything feels like a good fit, you and your instructor will move forward to set up your weekly lesson schedule. 4. We follow-up with you within the first 30 days to make sure you are satisfied with your instructor and with the quality of lessons you're receiving.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors are professionally trained and have at least a bachelor's degree. We have hundreds of applicants each year and carefully select only the best of the best to represent The Piano Cottage.
