My strong experience and credentials make this possible. I have earned three degrees in music and music education and taught music for over 30 years. I have studied not only music performance but also teaching methodology and have trained highly successful music teachers. As a result, I am able to draw from a great deal of knowledge and experience to help my students.

He was an amazing singing teacher, so compassionate, and was very creative in his teaching techniques! Always a great time, and his lessons still impact and better my singing even now! (I had to move away)

Dr. Taylor clearly cares about my child and works with her not only on vocal lessons but encourages her in life and other lessons as well. On a down day, he gives her space and grace but also encouragement and challenges her to do better even when she doesn’t feel like it

As someone with zero experience and expectations that would come with singinglessons, I was pleasantly surprised with my lessons with Dr. T. I was at a point where I knew I would like to learn but had no idea where to begin. Dr. T helped me with that by explaining things on a level that I (again, someone with minimal music background) could understand. I found some footing and felt motivated to practice. Shortly after, I felt a noticeable difference in technique, and continue to use it today. I had to stop due to my school and workload, despite Dr. T's flexible hours, I felt unable to manage everything. As soon as I can find the time, I will definitely resume lessons.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to practice and perform publicly as I have opportunity. There are always more skills to develop and more music to learn. I am always looking for new teaching materials for my students.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised in a musical family with parents that were professional musicians and music teachers. I have always loved music deeply and in college I decided I wanted to become a professional musician. After becoming a music teacher in schools, I learned how rewarding music study is for everyone's growth as a person and determined that I wanted to be a music teacher all my life.
