What do you want to accomplish? I have a longstanding record of helping people achieve their musical goals whether professional or amateur. I've greatly enjoyed seeing them accomplish their goals and grow in other areas of their lives too! My strong experience and credentials make this possible. I have earned three degrees in music and music education and taught music for over 30 years. I have studied not only music performance but also teaching methodology and have trained highly successful music teachers. As a result, I am able to draw from a great deal of knowledge and experience to help my students. I love helping students grow and succeed as musicians and people.

Skeptical about doing voice lessons online, especially as a complete beginner, but Dr.T has put those doubts to rest! After being with him for a few months I noticed significant improvements with his techniques and exercises that continue to help me as I try and get better. He is also a great person to talk with and he cares about you as person, remembering the little details. Even after not being able to do more lessons he still reaches out. Give him a try!

Dr T is an incredible person and teacher. I’ve never taken singing lessons and had to get ready to serenade my wife the night before our wedding. He put in extra time to make sure that I was ready. I appreciate his emphasis on technique, and plan on working with him for years to come

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to practice and perform publicly as I have opportunity. There are always more skills to develop and more music to learn. I am always looking for new teaching materials for my students.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised in a musical family with parents that were professional musicians and music teachers. I have always loved music deeply and in college I decided I wanted to become a professional musician. After becoming a music teacher in schools, I learned how rewarding music study is for everyone's growth as a person and determined that I wanted to be a music teacher all my life.
