We thought our icemaker was broken, but as it turned out it was not broken, but “stuck.” The tech explained that with the brand of refrigerator we had this was a very common problem. He showed us what to do to get the icemaker “unstuck.” This would have been the 2nd time we would have had the icemaker replaced, but thanks to the tech’s honesty, he saved us a very unnecessary and costly replacement, and instead educated us on our particular brand and the very easy and quick steps to take when the issue happens again. I very much appreciated his integrity. If I ever need any appliance repaired again, I am definitely calling SHM Pro!
