I really cannot say enough about the job John McNees effectively completed for me. I chose John amongst a handful of illustrators that were also interested in my work because of John’s experience and understanding of the author’s point of view. What a wise decision I made. John estimated that he would complete my project’s 24 illustrations in two months and they were completed in just over one month. On top of that, I also hired John to put together the print-ready layout of my book because I trusted his unique skill-set and effectiveness in completing the task at hand. Another great decision I made. Throughout the process, John was quick to respond, edit, and give feedback when needed. Occasionally John even went the extra mile and put together more than one illustration for me to choose which I liked best. If and when I choose to publish another book in need of illustrations, I know who my first contact will be. I cannot imagine any other illustrator matching John’s talent, professionalism, and integrity.
