We had an incredible experience with Carly! We had a lot of hiccups leading up to our wedding in terms of planning and Carly was flexible, kind, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. My brother has Autism and was completing a reading during our ceremony and she guided the ceremony very well, communicated effectively with everyone, and truly made us feel like our day was special by supporting the people that we care about. I cannot recommend Carly enough!

We are at the beginning of our wedding planning process and working with Carly has been an absolute dream! Her focus is making your day everything you dream it to be. At our first meeting, Carly sat down with us via Zoom due to being 2.5 hours away from each other. At this initial meeting, she asked us questions to learn more about what we had already planned, asked for things we knew we wanted to take place during our ceremony, and offered suggestions to make our day spectacular. What I really appreciate about Carly is her flexibility and how she connected with us. She offers a variety of ceremony types and is able to combine types of ceremony styles to fit what you envision for your day. FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a non-refundable fee to book the event date with me. If you’d like me to attend the rehearsal it’s $50. The rest of the payment is due before the ceremony/signing of the license.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with couples is a quick Get to Know You meeting to make sure we’re a good fit for each other! If we want to move forward in the process together the next meeting would be learning more about your love story and what you want your ceremony to be like. I can create a unique ceremony for you or you can tell me exactly what you’d like me to say! It’s your day:)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Finding the right officiant can be a difficult task. So why choose me? In my four years as a public educator, I’ve gained a variety of skills; such as, relationship building, conflict resolution, crisis management, public speaking, and even how to breathe when there’s a stressful situation. Other admirable skills include word play (peep my business name), awesome alliterations (for cute hashtags, etc.), and a continuous enjoyment of seeing others having a good time (is this a skill??). I love meeting all kinds of people and can’t wait to ~curry up~ and help you get married.
