FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do NOT charge per head like other caterers I charge by meal type and budget available! This allows me to actually "cater" my pricing to your budget. $750.00 budget? lets talk! $1000.00 budget? let's discuss! $5000.00 budget? let's chat! I actually work with "you" to select a menu that is delicious, beautiful and enjoyable! Normally, I charge a small up front fee that is non-refundable to hold and, lock in the date. Once we move forward, I usually charge 1/2 the total cost of the event followed by the 2nd half of the cost the day of the event. If there are special circumstances, we can discuss that as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. I will reach out by phone to discuss your needs, tastes, timeline, size and budget. Expect roughly a 30 minute to an hour long call as I need to explore your tastes, thoughts, preferences and many other factors about your event to make it unique and special to you! 2. Once we settle on the basic menu details, we then schedule a tasting so you can sample my flavor profiles, skill and tastes. If you like what you taste, we move forward. 3. We keep in touch as often as you wish in case something changes and if so, we reevaluate. 4. A short while before the date arrives, we speak again to confirm and last minute details. 5. Once the date arrives, I will bring the food and drop it off to your event location. (If tableside service is selected in advance, my team and I come out in advance and prep the meal to ensure everything is hot, ready and presentable. If cleanup service is selected, we pack the food for you and ensure our part of the follow up is complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lifetime of cooking experience behind me, nineteen years of catering experience as well as a year and a half of a chef school in Italy when I was younger and living abroad. I can also states that I continue to learn from each new experience and interaction.
