Introduction: We like to work with average people who live in average homes, but have extraordinary lives in which they don't have time to organize and clean their spaces. We work quickly and efficiently. Many of our cleaning/organizing jobs turn into decorating jobs once clients hear how easy and inexpensive it can be to transform their homes. We love the feeling of being able to provide people with relief from their cluttered homes. There has been research linking the amount of clutter in one's home to feelings of depression. We love being able to help people relax and enjoy their living space after a long day of work. No one wants to go to a stressful job and then come home to more stress; We can help get rid of some of that stress.

There needs to be more people like Bridget! She got me started on having the organized lifestyle I always wanted, but was too overwhelmed to complete on my own. The way she maximized small spaces with such creativity and functionality was amazing. in addition to her attention to aesthetic organization she is very patient and kind which is very important when this person will be in your most personal space. She could tackle any situation from simple organizational tasks, to going through seemingly endless piles/spaces. She will guide you and point out things you never even noticed in your own home! She has a passion for this and let me tell you, living organized and with less/no clutter is life changing! The hard part is getting there and all that it involves, and that's where Bridget comes in!!

Bridget has completed a few projects for us and we are very impressed with her artistic eye, her knack for helping us get rid of clutter in our kitchen and bathroom closets, and the speed of how quickly she has finished the jobs. She also painted our hallway and created a cozy sitting area at the top of our stairway with items we already had in our house!! We told her what we wanted and she offered alternate suggestions which we liked better than our original ideas. Bridget reorganized our kitchen cabinets and the bathroom closets in an afternoon. The hallway was also completed in a few hours. We look forward to hiring Bridget again as we dream about getting others areas in our house organized. Bridget is a hard working person and we are very pleased with her work, and her reasonable prices!

Bridget was EXCELLENT at helping me organize my small living space! With her help, my apartment is now less cramped and cluttered, and I even have workspace that I didn't have before. I have little storage space, but she helped me to utilize what I do have so that I have easy access to everything. My tiny apartment now feels so much more spacious and livable. I HIGHLY recommend Unclutter It!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Organizing is $25/hour. I work quickly and we get a lot done in a short time. Cleaning is $30/hour. We can also arrange a flat rate before the project has begun. More pricing can be found online.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently, I read various articles online and get emails from a national organizing newsletter each month. The best education for this job though, is hands-on.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a born organizer. When I was a child I used to line up my stuffed animals in a particular order, everything was labeled, my mother's kitchen was organized from A to Z, and my bedroom furniture was constantly moving so that I could see the potential of every arrangement. I love to paint and I love how it can absolutely change a space. Before I started my own business, I was a kindergarten and then a 4th grade teacher. I realized that even young children need to be organized in order to succeed.
