FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Videos and Animations can be very difficult to price out. The more detail the better. For instance, think of a 30 second one shot video. That can be done for very cheap. Now think of a 30 second high impact video with lots of cuts, music, several actors lots of dramatic lighting, and specialty shots. The costs can easily go into 5, even 6 figures. I know it is hard to tip your hand, but sometimes it is easier to work backwards. Let the professional know what your budget is. If they are worth their reputation, they will work with you in order to provide the best looking video for your price range no matter what it is.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a part of several professional video, film, and business associations. They all hold monthly meetings that discuss the latest trends, alternative ways of doing things to speed up processes and allow us to continually learn how to grow both professionally and as a business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love storytelling. I went into college as a English/Literature major, and ended up falling in love with the visual story, and double majoring in Television and Film as well. I love meeting different people and learning about new things.
