- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on tasks at hand, not by the hour. I just ask for a 25% deposit to schedule. No fees if you need to reschedule. If job is to be completely canceled by customer, deposit is refunded except 10% of price quoted.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently taking courses to recieve my builder's license. I've been in home improvement basically since I was a teen. Im just now moving forward on being independent after leaving the steel mill workforce.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad got me started when I was just a kid when working on our homes. Ever since then I've always enjoyed working with my hands. Its a good feeling being your own boss, and a better feeling knowing I'm helping some one out.
