FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My business focuses on quality and customer service. I setup a time and day to drive out and meet my customer at their place of residence. I go over the project step by step. If digging is involved, we mark all underground utilities, cable/internet, irrigation systems etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Worked under a general contractor building houses. construction trades certification that I received in highschool. While most kids were playing video games or wasting time doing nothing, I was outside with my dad. Digging wells, building decks, putting up fences, installing sprinkling systems, powerwashing the house etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Never really enjoyed the office setting. I spent most of my childhood outside on the back of a horse. I still spend most of my freetime on the back of a horse. I love being outside, swinging a hammer, getting my hands dirty. I bought a new horse 2 years ago, and i did farm repairs, and handyman work to pay for his keep. After about a month, everything that was broke was fixed. So I found another run down stable, and did the same thing. Work in exchange for my horses keep. Then one day, I had this crazy idea to go into business for myself. So I bought some business cards, joined Thumbtack, and never looked back.
