From start to finish, the crew was professional and delivered on their promises. Jose did an on-the-spot quote for the tree trimming and tree removal and was able to complete the work the very next day! Great price for the work completed. Worth every penny.

I had a very delicate job where 4 trees needed to be removed that were next to two houses with power lines on both sides of them. Andy and his team removed the trees safely and efficiently, all at a reasonable cost. Experience matters, and they have it. Give them a call; you'll be glad you did.

Tim and his crew planted over 30 Arborvitae trees around the perimeter of my backyard for privacy. I appreciate Tim being prompt in responding and scoping out the project. Turnaround time was quick too. Even though it rained the first few hours on arrival they got right to it and stuck with it to the end. The steps taken made the yard look more professional with the edging and mulching. I'm very satisfied with the results and would recommend Schramm's.

About

DETHATCHING is important to your lawn because it removes unwanted material close to the soil and or surface which in turn reduces your lawn’s turf potential. A quality dethatcher or power dethatcher, also known as power rakes or lawn dethatcher tiller, are used routinely for turf building to achieve a healthy turf. They can be a manual push lawn dethatcher, a power lawn dethatcher, or even a pull-behind power rake. Lawn rakes clean the debris to allow room for the grass to grow and thrive. They also allow the lawn to breathe and absorb water better for a healthier looking lawn. CORE AERATION is the process of mechanically removing plugs of thatch and soil from the lawn. Aeration opens the soil, helps reduce compaction, improves water infiltration, improves rooting, reduces thatch; and acts in many other ways to improve the lawn and reduce stress. Aeration restores the vital "nooks” and core aeration can be used to minimize thatch accumulation, to modify its physical characteristics, and to reduce soil compaction. Soil plugs are deposited on the turf surface. These plugs then break down and redistribute soil throughout the thatch layer. The soil from the plugs helps to modify the physical structure of the thatch, making it a better growing medium. To maintain a healthy lawn through periods of stress, the soil needs water, air and nutrients in the top 6 to 10 inches. Soils that are hard and compacted, have no "nooks and crannies" to hold the water, air or nutrients. Without these crucial components; root growth is impeded, which prevents the grass from developing the deep root system that is essential to survive in hot, dry, harsh, or cold periods. ¨Feeling snowed in?
