Introduction: This is who I am, what I do. I first began taking photographs at the age of four, and I continued photography throughout childhood and my early teen years. Through photography I documented family vacations and church events, and I was soon working as a photojournalist for a local media outlet.
As an artist, I am largely self-taught. During my first year of college, I began studying art, but I ended up with business and marketing degrees because I realized photography is 95% business and 5% taking photos.
“One doesn’t stop seeing. One doesn’t stop framing. It doesn’t turn off and turn on. It’s on all the time.” ~ Annie Leibovitz
No matter where I find myself, I always see the world in this unique way, and I feel so very blessed that I am able to professionally pursue my passions. I get to work with the most awesome people in the world, and as a result I greatly value the relationships with my clients. In 2010 I photographed my first wedding and today am additionally able to actively pursue equestrian photography and aviation photography.
My name is Daniel Flanagan, and I am a photographer. I would like to personally thank you for inviting me into your life to document your story.
