- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing system for One Creative Geek is actually the exact opposite of a "complicated" system. One Creative Geek does not charge by the hour for a project, something that you the client has no control over the amount of time spent. Those projects usually involve predictions on time and most likely will never come in under that projected time frame. I rather work with you to figure out the entire scope of your project and work within your budget to complete this project, based on a flat rate. I am excited to work with all projects/budgets and believe you will be happy to work with our flexibility!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. Yes. And YES! Any form of continued education to stay up on the latest developments in this field are a must for a creative geek like myself! Adobe is always making improvements to their software and upon each release of new software I train to learn newest tricks of the trade! I am also a member of the leading online software training website in the world, helping to learn more about my trade. While this website is a great place to brush up on old skills, learn new skills, or simply create fresh ideas...it is not the only website out there to continue education. I also subscribe to many print magazine, purchase books, read/write video and audio tutorials...just to keep moving forward and bettering myself! Finally, what better way to keep continuing my own education by teach others. By teaching others, you must stay on top of the latest trends yourself...and that is what this 'One Creative Geek' is always doing!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
One Creative Geek is truly your "one stop shop" for everything graphic design and website design related! As a trained graphic/website designer there are many different types of projects that I am comfortable with, none more common then the other. If you are looking for fantasy sports logos/helmets, website design, custom CD packaging, branding & identity, logo, business cards, book layouts, flash, etc....no job is out of my range. Just run your project by this 'one creative geek' as I am trained in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Flash, Illustrator), Joomla, Wordpress. If you need it, I can do it!
