I had such a great experience working with Jen at VERSA! I originally hired her to help me get my space organized, and she completely transformed it. She didn’t just come in and move things around; she really looked at the space, listened to what I needed, and figured out how to make everything work better for me.
Jen helped me create an actual walk-through closet, organize my things in a way that makes sense, and find better uses for areas of my space that I honestly wasn’t using to their full potential. Everything is SO much more organized now, and I actually feel like I have more room.
Jen is also extremely professional and mindful of your time and money. I really appreciated that she was honest about how long she could work productively instead of just staying longer and charging me more. That says a lot about how she runs her business.
I would absolutely recommend VERSA to anyone who needs help organizing or figuring out how to make their space work better. Jen is creative, professional, easy to work with, and very good at what she does. I’m so happy with how everything turned out!

Our family recently purchased an older home in Huntington Woods and we were looking to renovate the interior while maintaining its historical character. This was our first big renovation project with a fairly broad scope that we were looking for guidance on. We interviewed a number of designers and design-build firms, but Jen and VERSA really stood out among the rest. She emphasized historical preservation to maintain the charming character of the home/neighborhood and was also very client focused. She made sure to adapt everything to our tastes and desires while at the same time providing guidance and honest feedback when we asked. Her design specifications are incredibly detailed and made the transition to the construction process seamless. This being our first large renovation project, Jen guided us through the contractor selection process and found us an amazing contractor that brought Jens design to life. VERSA was excellent in collaborating and coordinating with the contractor and she saw the project through to the very end through all the minute details and scope changes that arose. The final product is gorgeous and we couldnt be happier with our dream home that Jen helped create. Thank you Jen and the VERSA team!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
VERSA can provide fees for the full scope of the project or by the hour. Our clients find they save money when making purchases for furniture and materials using our Trade discount. When you take into account that this can save you thousands of dollars our fee more than pays for itself.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we have a phone conversation to discuss your project needs. If a site visit is needed we then proceed to arrange a time to do this. Once we have a clear idea of the scope of your project and the project site we prepare a detailed proposal based on the amount of hours that will be needed to complete the design, documentation, and specification.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
VERSA is - one licensed Interior Designer with a BA from the George Washington University and an MA in Historic Preservation from Savannah College of Art and Design.
In addition we have a Licensed part time Architect that has his MA in Architecture.
