Dog training type
I swore up and down my puppy was just not trainable. Turnsout, it's not just the dog that learns. Kee gave me ways to train my puppy that helped us become a fantastic team! She was thoughtful, friendly and very understanding. I would recommend her to everyone I meet.Nov 10, 2018Verified
Gwin was a wonderful asset when it came to training my service dog. I probably would still be beating my head against the wall. She was even helpful on other issues I had with him that had nothing to do with his training. I also know that if I ever have a issue she is just a text awaySep 29, 2018F.I.D.O - Freedom Independence Devotion Obedience's reply
Hello Kira ... I have to tell you, that your dog surprised the heck out of me!! He was such a sweetie and took to training like crazy. His devotion to you was a big bonus!! I was very proud of both of you.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?1. I charge a FLAT fee for basic puppy training for 6 weeks - $180 ($30/session) 2. I charge a FLAT fee for dogs over 2 years old for 6 weeks - $210 ($35/session) 3. I charge a FLAT fee for dogs with specific commands that will include registration and ID - 10 weeks $450
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first Meet and Greet is at a local PetCo. This first session is to asses the interactions of the animal with other animals and people. After that, and the paperwork is completed (ie: shot record and record of spay/neuter). The following sessions are at either my home or yours. SA's are done after the first 5 weeks at restaurants and a Walmart. People places for final testing in the 10th week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Mine isn't book learned ... it's a love of animals and a desire to help people and animals relate, get along and work together as a team (family). Much of what I do is help a human relate to their furry family member better and more effectively and I've been doing this for over 25 years now. About 7 years ago, my church added the F.I.D.O program and things just kind of took off from there. I'm good at what I do!!
