UPDATED My original 1 star review to 5 stars. I originally had a horrible experience because I didn't have a plumber even show up (with no communication). However, someone reached directly out, apologized, and sent me a fantastic plumber first thing the next morning. Connor was absolutely fantastic, and is the sole reason I'm moving my rating all the way up to five. Not only was he easy to work with, but he was super fast and he did a phenomenal job with our pipe and sump pump replacement. I was so anxious about it all leading up to the service, but it was easy to trust Connor to do an amazing job at a fair price.

It was a pleasure working with Edwards Plumbing and Heating to do a service call on my bowler.
I received a response from them within 24 hours of my request for service. The technician kept me abreast as to his time of arrival.
I was pleased to see that James was very skilled at servicing my bowler.
He explained and showed me what needed to be done.
He completed the service call in 30 minutes.
I will certainly call on them again in the future to service my bowler.
I highly recommend Edwards Plumbing and Heating for your bowler needs.

I originally hired them to fix my hot water tank turns out I needed to a complete new water tank. The owner is incredible and really worked with me to get the job done! In such a short notice and on the holiday weekend, I would recommend them in the future.

I received an immediate text response upon posting on Thumbtack. I received a follow up call shortly thereafter. My job was not an emergency but a plumber was out to my house by noon that day. The plumber (Chris Hall) was great to deal with. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The initial task was to replace our sewage pump but he also discovered 2 other issues that needed repair as well. This saved us from future headaches. I would definitely use them again.

The young man who came out was very pleasant & efficient, 5 stars for Joe. He cleared the drain in the basement. I had a kitchen faucet that was dripping, decided to replace it. Joe chose a replacement that is very satisfactory. The business was quick to respond, all around a good result.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price every job upfront—no surprises—and we’ll always review options before any work begins.
Everyday discounts (10%) for veterans, senior citizens, teachers, law enforcement, and first responders.
Service/Diagnostic fee covers sending a licensed tech and diagnosing the issue.
Plumbing: the service fee is waived if you hire us for the repair. This is a Thumbtack special.
Large plumbing projects: free estimates.
HVAC: a diagnostic fee applies and is only waived on major component replacements or full system replacements (not on minor repairs, since HVAC diagnosis requires hands-on testing).
Fine print: Discounts can’t be combined, must be requested at booking, and don’t apply to permit fees or past work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule a 4-hour arrival window (8–12, 10–2, 1–5, or 5–9) and send a 30–60 minute “on our way” notice. We require a confirmation that someone will be home; if we can’t confirm, we’ll release the slot to the next client to keep routes on time. On arrival we wear boot covers, protect work areas, diagnose the issue, review upfront options/pricing, and—with your approval—most repairs are completed the same day (otherwise we set a fast follow-up).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We’re state-licensed, insured, and background-checked. Our plumbers and HVAC techs complete ongoing code, safety, and manufacturer training, including permit/inspection best practices and home-protection protocols (boot covers, drop cloths, clean work areas). HVAC technicians are EPA 608 certified and all teams train on new products so repairs are done to code and the right way the first time.
