FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is transparent and based on the complexity of your tax situation—not just the number of forms. Fees are discussed upfront before filing, and many clients choose to have fees deducted from their refund so there’s no out-of-pocket cost. We also offer refund advances (up to $7,500 for qualified clients) and occasional seasonal promotions. There are no surprise charges after you sign.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a secure online intake form or an in-person appointment. Once documents are received, we review your information, look for every legal credit and deduction, and go over your estimated results before filing. After approval and signature, we e-file your return and assist with advances, transcripts, and IRS follow-ups as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Tax Hive is led by an experienced, professional tax preparer with ongoing annual tax law training, IRS compliance education, and hands-on experience with individual, self-employed, and small-business returns. We stay current with IRS regulations, due-diligence requirements, and refund protection laws every tax season.
