I had a dreadful experience with Dewitt Construction. After paying a $4,593 deposit in early March 2024, the roofing project, which was supposed to be completed in early April, was repeatedly delayed. They attempted to change the agreed price, and the owner was extremely rude. When I expressed my desire to cancel after the job had been postponed again today, due to income loss as I’m unable to rent out the property with the roofing problem, the owner threatened me with legal action. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and fails to honor their contracts. Avoid Dewitt Building & Construction at all costs.
