Corey and one of his workers came and refinished 700 sq ft of flooring and we went with a darker stain. He worked late into the night the first night. He sanded three times and went over floors to make sure they were clean and stained them and polyed them all with in 3 days mostly due To dry time of product. He drove an hour and a half to get to me and one night he showed up at 8 pm and started to screen after first poly but it was humid and still to damp. He was honest and said he would have to go and come back the next day. He didn't chose to do half butt job because of hassle and drive time but loaded up his tools and came back next day to finish. My house was under major construction so all lights were taken down and neither one of us saw a poly puddle until next day. I called corey and even though he was already paid in full he came back the next day I was avail and fixed the small spot!!! Amazing work ethic and did a wonderful job. His work is worth twice what he charges... If you have a chance use him. I am Jon Stricker from Milan Michigan. I flip houses and work with contractors all the time. Very impressed with Corey and his attention to detail!!!!!

Corey communicated well before and after the job was complete. Job was completed on time. He gave us a great price and the floors look great. Very easy to work with. I will definitely call Corey again if I need floors refinished for another house.

Corey responded quickly and started the very next day. He worked over a holiday weekend to meet my schedule. He is a professional, pays attention to detail, and gave me several stain samples to help me make a decision. The floor is beautiful and finished on time. I could not be more pleased.

Cory did a fantastic job, the floors he refinished were 92 years old and in pretty bad condition. He sanded, filled and finished the floors that now look years younger. Also removed old carpet and pad, staples. I would highly recommend Lightway flooring. Could not be more pleased with the finished product and the way Cory kept me informed of the progress.

Corey, refinished the original hardwood floors in my new home. He sanded, stained, and polyed my floors to a beautiful finish. In addition to the original job, we added screening and poly of my great room; that also turned out great.
We have gotten plenty of compliments from friends and family so far on how gorgeous the floors look. We are appreciative for Corey's hard work, and diligence in making sure to provide us with the finish we desired. The project took a total of 3-4 days, but it was well worth it!
If you have floors that you would like to show off, please don't hesitate to give Corey a call. He is very reasonable in terms of price, and he does an excellent job. You too will be proud to show your new floors off after he is done.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our refinishing prices are solid and based on FLOOR square footage. Extra charges for extra labor and detail/specialty work:
WE CANNOT ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR YOUR APPLIANCES AND FURNITURE! Please make prior arrangements to remove or protect your property from areas to be refinished! We do our very best to protect trim work, but please expect minor scuffs to base trim if not removed in advance of sanding and staining!
$30/stair refinishing
$200/room of preexisting carpet/padding/tack strips needing removed
$1.50/sq ft for additional screen & recoat
$50/ln ft to install quarter round/shoe base molding
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every floor is unique. Floors differ by size, condition, layout, wood species, age, and other factors that make it difficult to guarantee a specific duration of work. Newly refinished floors also need time to dry and cure for at least 7 days after finishing. Most floors are finished in less than 10 continuous calendar days. Please plan to not have traffic or other construction work in areas where hardwood floors are to be refinished. We can only warranty floors that adhere to our recommended care procedures.
