- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rates for translation: $40 - $60 per hour or $0.20 per word. - $0.15 per word for proofreading; Driver Licenses: $30 - $40 Certificates: $30 – $50 Rates for interpretation: $40.00 to $60 per hour - with a minimum of 2 hours, plus mileage at $0.35 per mile driven. Rates for Spanish lessons: $30 - $40 per hour when lessons are conducted online (using different platforms) Rate depends on whether is only conversational Spanish or different levels with more grammar involved.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, our customers contact us with the information of their project, we provide them with a quote and estimated time of delivery. Once the quote is approved, we start working on the project. Translations of 1-2 pages are usually ready in 24 hours, for other translations, date and time of delivery is discussed with the client. Payment is upon delivery. We accept cash, check and debit or credit card payments. For Spanish lessons, our customers can contact us with details and from there we can arrange a meeting time and place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Law Degree from Mexico, and I have worked in legal translations for over 10 years. I am a member of the ATA (American Translators Associations) and MiTIN (Michigan Translators and Interpreters Network)
